How to Import Google Contacts to iPhone
When you add a Google account on your iPhone, you can use Google services like Gmail, YouTube, Photos, and more. Also, you can use your Gmail email address to create an Apple ID.
Now to Import Google Contacts to the iPhone, follow the following steps below:
1. Open the Settings app and tap on the Contacts option.
2. Now you have to add Google accounts to your iPhone. For that, tap the Accounts option and then tap Add Account.
3. Here, you will find a list of services you can add to your iPhone. For Google Contacts, tap on Google.
4. Enter your Google Account email and tap on the Next button.
5. After that, enter your password and then tap Next to continue.
6. Now, sync Google Contacts to your iPhone. For that, turn on the toggle next to the Contacts option. All the Google data you have synced will be saved on your iCloud account.

If you want, you can also sync – Mail, Calendars, and Notes apps.

How to Choose a Default Account to Add New Contacts
We have set up multiple accounts in the Contacts app – iCloud and Google Account. You can choose a default account to add new contacts to your iPhone.
Here is how you can choose the default account to save the contacts:
1. Open Settings and tap on the Contacts settings option.
2. Here, you will get the contact-related settings option. Tap on the Default Account option and choose the default account.

iCloud is set by default if you want to continue to save a contact on Google Contact. You can select Gmail.
