1. Turn ON Wi-Fi Hotspot
You need to turn on the Wi-Fi hotspot on your mobile phone. For that, open the Android settings, search for hotspot, and turn it on. It can vary depending on the device.

For Android smartphones, you can also follow the steps below:
1. Open Settings on your mobile phone.
2. Next, tap on the Network & Internet settings and select the Hotspot & tethering option.
3. Now, to use the mobile hotspot, you need to turn on the Wi-Fi Hotspot feature.
Note
You can also share your mobile data using other modes such as USB tethering and Bluetooth tethering. However, the best way to share your mobile data is through the hotspot.
4. Here, you will find your hotspot name and password, which you can use to connect to it on any device, including a Windows PC.
2. Connect Mobile Hotspot to PC
Once you have turned on the mobile hotspot on your phone, you are ready to connect it to your Windows PC.
Here are the steps you can follow:
1. Click on the Quick Settings area in the taskbar. This will allow you to access the quick settings panel.
2. To turn on the WiFi, click on the WiFi icon.
3. Then click on the arrow icon to see the list of WiFi networks available.
4. Select the mobile hotspot network you want to connect to, then click on the Connect Automatically check box and click the Connect button.
5. If the mobile hotspot network is secured with a password. You will see a text box labeled Enter the network security key. Enter the WiFi network password in the box and click the Next button.
6. You’ll see a Verifying and Connecting message as Windows connects to the Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you’ll see a Connected message.
After that, your PC will connect to your smartphone mobile hotspot. Now, if the internet is working on your PC, you have successfully connected to your mobile hotspot.
